Milan

Milan
is a Dutch registered
Friesian stallion born in 1996, out of the
Dutch registered mare Victoria, and sired by the now deceased
approved Dutch stallion Pyt. He stands 16.2 hands, with a bold
athletic build, long legs, strong
neck and back and a
classically beautiful, aristocratic head. His movements are
elegant and graceful, his disposition relaxed, willing and exciting.

Milan received a First Premium,
and was Grand Champion at the Dutch keuring in Harvard, Illinois in 1996,
one of 4 foals in North America to receive
that honor in that year.
Milan was trained to the cart, and at 1½ years
of age performed at the 19 98 Minnesota Horse Expo breed exhibition and
rodeo. At the 2000 keuring
he
was passed to the second level of the
stallion test by the Dutch judges, received his Star Stallion status
and earning a point towards his dam’s preferant rating. He
performed under saddle seat and in harness in 2000 and 2001.

Milan
began classical dressage training with Doina Fischer in 2002 and entered into
a new career. In November of 2003 he performed in
exhibition as part of the Friesian Stallion quadrille at the
National Horse Show in Wellington, Florida.

In 2004 and 2005 he returned to
Minnesota to once again excite the audience with
his performance at the Minnesota Horse Expo.
Milan
has spent his summers in New York and winters in
Florida training and performing. In 2004 he returned home,
where he continues to electrify crowds with his presence.

Milan's
bold look, athletic ability,
his proud demeanor , willingness
to work and his respectful , loving,
yet cocky disposition are traits
many Dutch or German registered
mares can benefit from.
